MEET MIKE MATOS AND FAMILY
Mike and Nikki Matos have been Jacksonville residents since 2002. Initially, Mike served in the Navy at Mayport base on the USS Carney. Transitioning to civilian life, Mike dedicated himself to public service as a firefighter with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, a role he continues to fulfill.
With nearly a decade of experience in the outdoor industry, Mike currently serves as the Project Manager for Premier Outdoor Inc., a distinguished company founded by a fellow firefighter and close friend. Having established Premier Outdoor Inc., the company has evolved into a leading pool builder in Nocatee and Ponte Vedra. Additionally, as a co-owner of Sunnyside Outdoor, Mike and Nikki are on the same path to becoming one of the area's top outdoor builders. The foundation of Sunnyside Outdoor is built on quality over quantity. Just as they care for the people of Jacksonville when they are working at the Fire Station, they care for the people that they build for. Mike’s commitment extends to his family of five, residing in St. John’s County. Nikki and Mike are proud parents of three children — Mikey, Miley, and Charlee. Rooted in faith, the Matos family prioritizes the value of family and friendship.
